About

The term "Rotterdammert" can be used for a person born and raised in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam is the second biggest city in the Netherlands. It was once the biggest port of the world, and is still the biggest port of Europe. There is a strong relation with the maritime world.

As being born (1963) and raised in Rotterdam, being originally educated as a maritime engineer, the term Rotterdammert Photography is a good choice for my serious photography hobby to my opinion.

I am also a dad of two beautiful daughters. As profession I was a software engineer (also related to the maritime world). In my free time I spent a lot of my time to photographing. Nature, travel, historical and modern architecture, panorama, portrait are some genres I do. Since 2019 I spent more and more time to compositing based on pictures I took myself.

I hope you like what you see here on my site. Enjoy!
